Health System Strengthening

  • Supporting decentralized health governance in 6 governorates i.e., health development councils (HDCs): developing standardized operating procedures (HDC operational manual), developing HDCs bylaws, operationalizing executive units, facilitation of board meetings, providing assistance in governorate-level comprehensive health planning and implementation of relative projects and plans.
  • Implementation of Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) in many HFs in 3 governorates, facilitation exchange of experience and lessons learned.
  • Comprehensive health planning (Governorates and districts-based): assisting development of comprehensive health plans in 6 governorates in 2011, 2013, 2018.

Health system research

Baseline assessments, training needs assessments, feasibility studies, monitoring and evaluation studies, Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices (KAP) studies, Client Satisfaction Surveys. Our team has the required competency in drafting the research proposals, implementation of research with concrete well-organized structure and steps including development of sound methodology (qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods), sampling, data collection (interviews, key informant interviews, focus group discussions, etc.), data processing, entry and analysis using appropriate statistical software, reporting and results dissemination. Quality is assured throughout research stages to enhance reliability of results. Examples include:
